Juriul va avea misiunea de a atribui trofeul Palme d’Or pentru scurtmetraj unuia dintre cele 10 filme incluse în competiție și de a decerna cele trei premii ale secțiunii Cinefondation pentru cele mai bune pelicule dintre cele 17 filme selectate și realizate de studenți ai unor școli de film. La fel ca anul trecut, juriul nu va avea un președinte, iar componența sa este paritară: trei femei și trei bărbați. Juriul va acorda premiile secțiunii Cinefondation într-o ceremonie care va preceda proiecția filmelor câștigătoare, joi, 15 iulie, în sala Bunuel din Palais des Festivals et des Congres din Cannes. Cea de-a 74-a ediție a Festivalului de Film de la Cannes se va desfășura în perioada 6-17 iulie.
